How much does a ticket cost?

For ticket prices, discounts, and more, please refer to the Garden of Science price list.

Is it permitted to operate drones or take drone photos in the Garden of Science?

No. Drone use and drone photography are strictly prohibited to ensure the safety, privacy, and comfort of all visitors, and to avoid disruptions to educational activities.

Do free tickets require advance registration?

Yes. You must reserve a free ticket for each visitor exempt from payment and select the date of the visit in advance for your entire group or family.

Can animals be brought into the Garden?

No. Animals are not allowed in the Garden of Science, except for guide dogs accompanying individuals with disabilities.

Where is the protected shelter located?

The Garden of Science is an open area and does not have its own protected shelter. In the Garden’s laboratory building, there are shelters suitable for 45 people each. These are located on the upper floor – near the restrooms at the end of the main lobby corridor, and on the lower floor – in the corridor near the restrooms. At Davidson South, the Barvaz Auditorium has a standard protected shelter in the preparation room. In addition, Laboratories 3 and 4 are designated as secondary shelters.

Does the weather affect the Garden’s activities?

Yes. The Clore Science Garden is an open-air museum, and some exhibits may be unavailable during rain, strong winds, or other weather-related conditions.

Can I arrange a group visit?

Yes. Group visits can be arranged for 15 participants or more. To schedule a visit, please contact the Customer Service Center at 08-9378300 or by email at davidson@weizmann.ac.il. Important: For every three children under the age of 5, one accompanying adult is required. Group visits are subject to the Garden’s opening hours and available capacity. Entry includes an independent, self-guided visit (no professional guide provided).

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

Reservations may be canceled or changed up to two business days before the scheduled activity.

Can I change the date of my visit after booking?

Yes. Subject to availability and Garden policy, tickets may be exchanged up to two business days before the scheduled visit at no additional cost. To make changes, please contact the Customer Service Center at davidson@weizmann.ac.il or call 08-9378300.

What ages are the activities suitable for?

Activities in the Garden of Science are suitable for ages 5 and up. Children of all ages require a ticket. For children under age 5, one adult must accompany every three children.

Are the activities in the Garden self-guided or guided?

The visit throughout the Garden is primarily self-guided. However, guided activities take place during the day in different areas of the Garden - schedules are posted at the information desk. The Garden of Science workshops are fully guided and require advance ticket reservations.

Is there organized parking?

Yes! A nearby parking lot is available free of charge. Search for “Garden of Science Parking” in navigation apps.

Is the site accessible for strollers?

Partially. The Garden has many paths, but not all are stroller-accessible.

Is the site wheelchair accessible?

Partially. Visitors using wheelchairs can access most of the Garden, but some experiential paths are not wheelchair-accessible.

Is it possible to eat and drink in the Garden of Science?

Yes! You’re welcome to bring food and enjoy it in designated picnic areas. Please note that eating and drinking are not allowed inside the laboratory spaces. For your convenience, a snack bar is open at the Garden of Science on Saturdays and during part of the summer season
