Exhibits on the Barvaz Lawns
- Sound Tube – A garden hose rolled into a tube approximately 100 meters long that lets you explore sound in motion.
- Rock Echo Pit – At first glance, a simple rock pit, but its central opening creates surprising and unique sound effects.
- Double Gyroscope – Two discs (gyroscopes) hang from either side of a shared axle, with a weight that can be moved left and right to explore motion and balance.
- Descending on an Incline – A double diamond-shaped track with a double cone placed on it, demonstrating gravity and motion.
- Bouncing Balls – Three balls stacked by mass from heaviest to lightest, threaded with a stretched metal wire, showing principles of energy and impact.
- Breaking the Cipher – Two transparent sheets covered with seemingly random scribbles. Slide the top sheet left or right over the fixed bottom sheet to reveal hidden patterns in the black marks, which initially appear random and unintelligible, and explore the principles of encryption and cryptography
