From the simplest single-celled organisms to humans, the systems that sustain life are the most intricate of all.
Human health and quality of life are central focuses of scientific research
By exploring nature through the lens of life — and human life in particular — we gain a deeper understanding of the interconnected systems that work together to create a living organism. We also discover new ways to enhance our health and well-being, as well as that of all living beings.

In the Life Zone, you’ll encounter a towering sculpture of the human body. This immersive experience invites you to explore the body’s systems on a new scale, understand their interactions, and reflect on the question:  What is our responsibility to ourselves and the living beings we share this world with?
