Earth can exist without humans, but we cannot exist without Earth.

For Earth to support life, many conditions must align: its unique structure, soil composition, atmosphere, the diverse ecosystems, and their intricate interactions. Earth’s relationship with the moon, its distance from the sun, and more.

In the Earth Zone, we’ll explore the ecosystem of an ecological pond, walk through structures made of wood and bamboo, and enjoy a sensory trail that invites direct contact with the soil, trees, water, and everything in between.
We’ll learn why protecting our extraordinary planet is so important — and reflect on the question: What can each of us do to help protect it?
