It is the engine of interpretation, thought, and imagination within our heads. Through it, we perceive, feel, explore, and try to understand. It controls the body’s organs, manages many internal processes, and connects us to the world around us. Yet sometimes the environment tricks us, creating illusions that influence the way we think and draw conclusions.
